Croon sold Walco to Johec International B.V.
On April 1st 2009 Croon sold Walco (service centre for electrical motors and generators) to Johec International B.V.. Johec not only sells new generators but also offers problem solving solutions and services for these generators. They have considerable experience which has resulted in long term national and international service contracts within the maritime and industrial sectors. This proven expertise and determination has also lead to service contract agreements with prominent generator manufacturers, where Johec are also the official representatives for, among others, Cummins.
Walco's activities match extremely well with Johec's objectives of being the service experts for motors and generators. They will continue to use the well known Walco name for the business activities at Spijkenisse. As a result of this sale, Croon will be able to improve her focus on her innovative characteristics for electro-technical installations in the maritime, industrial, utility and infra markets.
